Samuel Shina Adeola is a co-founder of Pathfinders and Providers, bringing experience in disability services, business development, leadership and mentoring.

Originally from Benin City, Nigeria, Samuel moved to Australia in 2009 and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Maritime Management at the University of Tasmania. His professional background includes work with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Royal North Shore Hospital and disability service organisations.

After gaining experience within the disability sector, Samuel co-founded Base Disability in 2017. He also established Believe Thisability Organisation, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to recognising and developing the abilities of people with disability and supporting them to pursue their goals and life purpose.

Samuel’s professional journey has included challenges, career changes and unsuccessful business ventures. These experiences encouraged him to reflect on his own direction and develop a clearer understanding of the work he wanted to pursue. They also strengthened his commitment to helping other people find purpose, recognise their abilities and move forward with confidence.

This belief is closely connected to the vision behind Pathfinders and Providers. Samuel sees a pathfinder as someone who is prepared to identify a direction, overcome challenges and create opportunities for themselves and others.

At Pathfinders and Providers, Samuel contributes his experience through business growth coaching, provider support, mentoring and the development of learning and networking opportunities. He is passionate about helping disability service providers build stronger organisations while encouraging workers and professionals to recognise the value they can bring to the sector.

Samuel’s vision is for Pathfinders and Providers to become a place where knowledge, guidance and professional connections help people take practical steps towards their goals.
